Wow - where has the year gone? I can't believe it is already the middle of February. Apologies for neglecting you all and thank you to those who have stuck with me.

You Only Have One Life - Soundtrack

So like all things in my life, I like to do it with style and possibly go a little over the top. (Me?? Reallly???) Well I have come up with a Playlist or Soundtrack for my concept behind this blog. Autumn Sunrise and a Surprise

Another beautiful autumn sunrise this morning. Every day I see these balloons, I remind myself that one day I want to take a trip and see the city from the quiet spot in a balloon. One day.... Sunrise from my balcony And on another sunny note - drum roll please............. I have a new job!! Yippee. A wonderful moment happened on my birthday Friday where I got a call to say all the hard work and effort I put in applying and interviewing have paid off. Woo Hoo. So it was double celebration with toasts for me and my new role. More details on that to come as I draw closer to my start date. Needless to say a weight has been lifted and I feel that I am moving forward rather than treading water. A feel some baking coming on to celebrate. Hope you are having a wonderful morning. xxx

Sunset - Sydney

I was lucky enough last week to spend 3 days in Sydney with the rest of my Fundraising Management Team at a conference. It was great to finally put faces to names and voices that I have been chatting yo and working with for the last 12 months. Loads of information, great ideas and networking. Such an inspiring bunch. We worked out between us 20 individuals we have 138 years experience in Fundraising! Amazing. No wonder we are going great guns! On Tuesday night after a massive day were were treated to an amazing sunset cruise with dinner and drinks on the Harbour. (Thank you Barter Card for your loyalty points system for the free trip!) I managed to get some great shots of the sunset over iconic Sydney. The Opera House The Sydney Harbour Bridge Thank you Sydney for the most amazing weather! xxx
