A weekend with Mum

Another lovely weekend has sped past with my Mum. Every 6 weeks we get together at my place for a girly weekend of food, shopping and getting our hair done. This weekend has been another weekend full of memories and great times. Here's a little snapshot.

Friday night was full of gossip and catching up. Dinner was home made thai chicken noodle box that wouldn't have looked out of place at any good noodle box!
Dreaming of our own French Chateau. A spare $2mil Euro's and this would be ours.

Saturday morning was off to get our hair done. Lots of gossip and a few hours later we were glam and ready for action. A late lunch and a stop into Flight Centre for some holiday ideas and it was home to rest our weary legs and watch some America's Top Model before leftovers for dinner.

Sunday was sleep in day. Chatting for a few hours before off to our favourite French cafe in Port Melbourne, Moulin Noir, for some brunch.

Another fabulous long weekend together. Thanks Mum. I'm off to dream of sunshine and finish planning my holiday.

Autumn Sunrise and a Surprise

Another beautiful autumn sunrise this morning. Every day I see these balloons, I remind myself that one day I want to take a trip and see the city from the quiet spot in a balloon. One day.... Sunrise from my balcony And on another sunny note - drum roll please............. I have a new job!! Yippee. A wonderful moment happened on my birthday Friday where I got a call to say all the hard work and effort I put in applying and interviewing have paid off. Woo Hoo. So it was double celebration with toasts for me and my new role. More details on that to come as I draw closer to my start date. Needless to say a weight has been lifted and I feel that I am moving forward rather than treading water. A feel some baking coming on to celebrate. Hope you are having a wonderful morning. xxx
