The current trend of neon colours has got me excited. Far from it being the late 80's and early 90's version of head to toe clashing fluro - the pops of colour add a touch of class. I can't wait to find the perfect tote. Loving this look and especially the bag. LOVE to get one of these. Loving that the nail polish perfectly matches the bag. Now that is co-ordinating. Apologies to the photographers and copyright owners of the above images. I was unable to acknowledge anyone. If they are yours or you know where they came from - please let me know and I will update accordingly.
It seems the Blogging world is alight with those of us currently pondering happiness. This post by Carla Coulson had me really thinking. Put this together with Gretchen Rubin's thoughts and I feel the need to write a few lists. (Image - Carla Coulson - Chasing a Dream) Carla talks about the things that she needs to make her happy. Her Italian husband needed to get out of Italy after she felt she had settled in Florence and was 'living the dream'. So they packed up and moved to Paris. Cue the continuation of the dream life as they both found happiness and success in Paris. But a niggling feeling made Carla question what it was that they both needed to be happy. A list emerged that highlighted the important things such as Sunshine, Love, Friends, Grass, Good Coffee, a Garden and many more. A realisation followed that Paris was not making either of them happy. I am staying tuned to see what happe...
Yesterday was one of those crazy weather days that breaks records. It was still a crazy 7 degrees at 12pm and we only managed 14 by 4pm. This was what we awoke to in the morning (Image from Eureka 89) Fog as far as the eye could see But by the end of the day this is what I saw from my balcony. I love Melbourne!
I love reading - anything chick lit and self analysis are my favourites. As much as I love technology I can't go past the feel of a real book. Turning pages while snuggled under a blanket. My idea of heaven. Anyway, this month's book has been the Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin . I am nearly finished reading the account of Gretchen's year of trying to have more fun to increase her happiness and have enjoyed it immensely and can't wait to get started on my own version. I am looking forward to sharing the journey as I map out my Commandments and Resolutions. This seems like an extension of my Goals work I have been doing with good friends for the last few years. I love setting out my Goals and meeting up every couple of months to put stars on the ones we have achieved. I am at heart a list maker who enjoys nothing more then seeing Gold Stars on a page as I accomplish things. (And yes I have been known to put something on the bottom of the lift that I ha...
I only have one life and I want to make this one happy and fulfilled. So here it is, the beginning of documenting all the things I love, the things I want to do and the things I achieve. Why now? Why this? Well why not?? Everyone knows I can talk, and I like to tell a story but I hope to include loads of great photos along the way so you can dream and drool with me. I look forward to sharing all things food, fashion, shoes, bubbles, life and love. I hope you enjoy. xxx
