It's been a funny week with clear skies and hot temperatures one day and thunder storms and torrential rain the next. Bring on summer I say. I'm sick if layering my clothes and wearing bulky jackets. Eating seafood curry laksa to keep warm! Wishing I was sipping margaritas in the sun. Xxx

Wow, time flies when you let life get on top of you!! It felt like forever since I put fingers to the keyboard and shared a few thoughts. And logging in today I realise it has been. Where have the last 2 months gone???? Needless to say there are reasons (aren't there always?). A busy and crappy time with work led me down a self destructive path of grumpiness and generally feeling like I was a hopeless case who couldn't do anything right. Have you ever had your faith in yourself so shaken by one person and one incident that you begin to unravel and wonder if every great thing about yourself was just an illusion or worse a delusion? Have you ever sat back after hearing someone's feedback and thought what the hell am I doing? Well I did. Just after coming back from holidays accusations were thrown at me and it rocked me to my core. I started doubting my talents for anything and everything. It's been a busy last part of the week. With work unveiling a piece of art that we created as part of a team bonding with Mind Gallery last month, a new team bonding experience with dinner and a make up class at Mecca Cosmetica in the city and then drinks and mexican snacks with some of the girls at my place as part of the Dine at Mine Fundraising campaign for Camp Quality ! Phew and that was just Thursday and Friday! Leftovers from my Mexican feast. Homemade Salsa and Guacmole. Yummy. So Saturday was spent with a spot of shopping and then relaxing in the glorious sun on my balcony with some mexican leftovers. Today it was off to my new favourite hang out Two Birds One Stone . Love, love, love their menu and can't wait to work my way through it. Certainly worth the wait. I can see the next few weekends spent lazing around this busy but laid back place. Summer in training. It seems in Australia (and possibly the world) it's all about the UK this week. With the royal baby finally making his way into the world and closer to home the Liverpool Football Club making their way to Melbourne for the first time ever. Today London may have been a sea of blue for Baby Cambridge, but Melbourne turned on a sea of Red with Liverpool fans from all corners of the world joining together to see the Reds face the Melbourne Victory at the MCG tonight.  Liverpool fans at the MCG Sing You'll Never Walk Alone - Image 101 Great Goals  (Check out the video of the song too) While S is enjoying the game from his seat in the stands, (Happy Birthday Honey) I get to watch on TV and see the lights from the balcony. My mum is visit this weekend. It's all about girly pursuits for us - dinner out (We are going Mexican first), then hair appointments, lots of shopping, Brunch at the top of the Eureka Tower on Sunday to celebrate Bastille Day, and lots of food and gossip.
