Crushing On - Candy Bars

We have an event coming up at work next month where we want to offer a Candy Bar as part of the food options. This has started me looking around at options and noticing the use of these great ideas as part of catering at all sorts of functions. Including a fundraising lunch I attend recently, where there wa small Candy Bar on each table with volunteers selling little paper bags for you to get your fill. What a great idea. I wanted to share my research with you. What do you think? Do you like the idea of a serve yourself Candy bar? have you seen one that you liked or perhaps put one together for your own party? Current Crushes

It's time again to share some of my current favourite things. Things that I am obsessing over and can't get enough of. So here you go... Food - Mexican  - I am loving all things Mexican. Avocado in guacamole (You may remember  last month's crush on Avocado and Feta), Tomato Salsa, Corn Chips and Tacos, Quesadilla, Tortillas. I am loving them all. For the best Mexican out, try these two in South Yarra - (I can recommend both) Fonda - 144 Chapel St, Windsor VIC 3181 Touche Hombre Electrica - 15 Claremont Street, South Yarra VIC 3141   TV - America's Next Top Model - Yes I am sure there is more 'quality' TV out there but nothing that has appealed since The Block finished. So I have dived into ANTM thanks to Apple TV. Am loving it. Not sure why but I can happily spend an evening or day watching episode back to back. Currently up to Season 14. Sweet Stuff - Vanilla Slice - I am not sure where I have been for the last ho...

Handbags

As a girly girl I love shoes, champagne and handbags and fashion and plenty more. But I wanted to share a few handbags I am currently loving. Miu Miu Bag  - Image Making Magique The Hermes Birkin. Bliss Loving the pop of neon Another pop of neon My current favourite pop of neon yellow. Am trying to find my own before winter ends. As you can see my current style crush is a more structured tote. One day I will own a Birkin. Wonder what colour I will choose? A black or tan that will go with everything or something a little more special that shows off my fabulous purchase? I am in handbag heaven with these beauties. Can't wait to find my own slice of perfection. I feel a shopping weekend coming on! xxx

Crushing on....

Do you ever get so obsessed with something that it's all you can think about? For an example a song, a dress, a culture or a food. I do. A lot. So I thought to help my obsession or to maybe even get me over my current obsessions I thought I would share them. Food - Avocado and Feta Mash. Simple and oh so tasty. Just mash an avocado together with crumbled feta  Serve on toast, with tortilla chips, as a dish with poached eggs. Almost anywhere. Try adding extras like lemon juice, chopped tomatoes or fresh herbs. If you are in Melbourne head to Moulin Noir in Port Melbourne who do a mean version. Movie - So I am going to cheat here and go with a franchise of AMAZING movies. Fast & The Furious. Absolutely obsessed with these. and there is a new one out,  Fast & Furious 6 . Vin Diesel, Paul Walker,  fast cars and non stop action. Do I need to say more? Looking forward to seeing it this week So...
